Wow. Its been six weeks. So the obvious assumption would be that we haven’t been doing anything, but its exactly the opposite. Expressions Cinema just made it through its first wedding season and with Malka Media now alive and well – our sports

marketing group – a lot has been going on around here. This week we got our second chance at shooting the Alan T Brown annual Celebrity Golf & Tennis Tournament. Bruce Beck, Sam Rosen, Ken Daneyko, Jeremy Schaap were all on hand – see the picture below . It was a long day and this video does a pretty good job of highlighting everything from morning till night – except the rain…

This video has been completed for a little while now but we had to go back and forth with a lot of the sponsorship details so had to hold off on showing this to the world. We got to spend the day with Anthony Fasano, Josh Freeman, Brady Quinn, Miles Austin, Sean O’hara, Ricky Williams, and about 25 other active NFL players as the Anthony Fasano Foundation set out on its annual mission of raising money for children with autism. This production was put together for us by Louis Krubich Productions and had us shooting in a helicopter (awesome) and golf cart, using our crane, steadicam and more. It was pretty elaborate and the final piece came out pretty nicely. enjoy!

First of all I suck as a blogger. I don’t even want to think about how long its been, BUT today marks a very interesting day in video history for me. I’ve been fortunate enough to shoot with many great cinematographers on many projects in the past. Today however, I got the opportunity to watch a film edited by my Expressions partner in crime Brian Berkowitz. With this 4-year degree from SVA in editing I shouldn’t be too surprised that it came out great, but I have ALWAYS been the one to edit my films in the past. The Five Towns 5K was a unique event in that Brian had shot the stills at the event, so I was the only shooter at the event, so everything you see was shot by me. This monring we had the opportunity to film and photograph the second annual 5 Towns 5K benefiting Beit Halochem. I gotta say sometimes you wonder. The forecast called for rain all day and it held out just long enough for the runners to all complete the race and enjoy some food before the skies opened up. As always a great time had by all. Below is a picture of me finishing the race at just over an hour – of course I never really started. Video will be coming soon in the next few weeks. This past Saturday night we had the chance to shoot the Kickin’ it Old School event for The Alan T Brown Foundation’s annual event at The Prince George Ballroom. The event, as all of their events do, help raise money to cure paralysis. It was a really cool event – the clothes were awesome, food was great, and money was raised for a great cause. Today I had the opportunity to join the New York Hospital Queens for their prosthodontics presentation coinciding with National Prosthodontics Awareness Week. It was a great presentation and a slight deviation from the norm for me as I usually shoot video, but today I got behind the lens for some still shots of the prosth residents and director Dr. Frank Tuminelli. Never had I thought I would learn so much about implants, veneers, dentures and more, but it was a nice presentation. We had the opportunity last week to shoot a promotional video for Harmony Dental Arts in Clifton, NJ. While many of you may know that my wife, Rebecca, is a 3rd year dental student, and my brother-in-law a prosthodontics resident, doing a commercial for a dental office was actually nothing more than coincidence. We shot this commercial is just about 3 hours including all of the interviewing on site. We were going to go with a female voice over for that nice soft feel but I actually lent my “silky smooth” pipes to the piece and it worked pretty well, so we rolled with it.
