First of all I suck as a blogger. I don’t even want to think about how long its been, BUT today marks a very interesting day in video history for me. I’ve been fortunate enough to shoot with many great cinematographers on many projects in the past. Today however, I got the opportunity to watch a film edited by my Expressions partner in crime Brian Berkowitz. With this 4-year degree from SVA in editing I shouldn’t be too surprised that it came out great, but I have ALWAYS been the one to edit my films in the past. The Five Towns 5K was a unique event in that Brian had shot the stills at the event, so I was the only shooter at the event, so everything you see was shot by me. This monring we had the opportunity to film and photograph the second annual 5 Towns 5K benefiting Beit Halochem. I gotta say sometimes you wonder. The forecast called for rain all day and it held out just long enough for the runners to all complete the race and enjoy some food before the skies opened up. As always a great time had by all. Below is a picture of me finishing the race at just over an hour – of course I never really started. Video will be coming soon in the next few weeks.
